History: Nanohana was a young girl whose great dream was to join the superhero troupe known as Project PREDESTINY, an idol group who were also mecha-piloting magical girls who defended the world from the darkness that attacked them. A chance encounter with some of its members allowed Nanohana to join the group, being partnered up with her future friends and teammates Eri and Sora. Together, the three defeated one of the major generals and saved the world.
At least, that’s what Nanohana thought. In the final battle, Nanohana had crashed to Earth after the creature’s defeat and, wounded, crawled back to base. Instead of a hero’s welcome, there was another girl that looked exactly like her there taking the credit. Confronting Kazuko, her grandmother and leader of the Project, she learned she wasn’t the real Nanohana, but an artificial human code named NH-01.
The real Nanohana had been gravely injured when she was young and NH-01 was created to replace her. The machine she piloted contained a magical jewel known as the Rainbow Jewel that, charged with positive emotions, could revive her. The jewel did that and transferred NH-01’s memories to the real Nanohana. Her job was done and she was abandoned.
Determined not to let this destroy her, NH-01 reclaimed the Nanohana name for herself and, realizing her powers and mech were still functioning, reclaimed both with the intent on saving the world her way.
